blue ice – vintage Swarovski crystal earrings

Big, bold, Swarovski crystals in two calming, watery shades of blue…. They are around 50 years old – and they are still stunning!

About the Crystals: These limited stock Swarovski crystals were manufactured in Austria in the 1950s to 1970s. Packaging for these crystals is marked D.S. & Co. (Daniel Swarovski). This flying saucer style has been discontinued. Limited quantities remain, making these a rare find. The dark blue hue is called Montana, while the crisp light blue is Indian Sapphire. These particular crystals are in remarkable condition. But, because they are so old, you may notice very slight surface imperfections.

Long, sterling silver wires were hammered by hand, to create a widened paddle, allowing the crystals to float midway along the length of the wire. The wires are securely wrapped onto a sterling silver connector with an ornamental pattern.

The crystals are staggered in height to allow light to pass through each of them independently. This design element also keeps them from bumping into one another so they will last another 50 years for you.

Measurements: The earrings are approximately 2 in (7.5 cm) in length. The large Swarovski crystals are nearly 0.5 in (1 cm) across in length and depth. They are in remarkable condition despite their age.

French hook ear wires and all metal components are sterling silver.

If you are a discriminating woman, these are not to be missed.

Blue Ice will come to you sweetly packed in Inner Beauty signature gift packaging.
