Constricted Heart Necklace

I made this heart necklace to be finished on both sides. It is totally reversible (same on both sides) so that if it should flip around while wearing it, you will not be seeing an unfinished back. The heart is formed by use of a hydraulic press which domes the metal. After it is shaped and cut by hand the “puffed” heart pieces are then soldered together to make a hollow form. The copper heart is then wrapped (or constricted) with sterling silver wire. It hangs from a 18” bead chain. The pendant measures approx 1″ across.
