These unusual earrings have the look of a time long past. To create these one of a kind earrings, I made small white, polymer clay cabs that I stamped with a floral filigree design and painted with metallic copper and mauve acrylic paint. I then set the cabs in beadwoven bezels made of translucent, mauve delicas accented with iridescent rose and black rocaille seed beads. Nymo thread was used throughout the bezels. I incorporated a tiny, soldered sterling silver jumpring into the bezels – they provide the anchor for the copper earwires. The earwires are solid copper with a bali style accent on the front.
Because the cabs are made of polymer clay, these earrings are fairly lightweight for their size.
