Hand needlefelted brooch – Pumpkin
This is a hand needle felted brooch made from Merino wool tops. I needle felted orange, lemon and green merino wool tops into a heart shape and then hand embroidered the front. The embroidery on the front is done with light green to pale lemon variegated embroidery thread and consists of free flow swirls with tiny lemon bead accents. The brooch has been sewn onto commercial felt to give it strength and has another heart shaped piece of felt hand sewn on which has the brooch back sewn to it securely. It can be worn on dresses, tops, hats and bags, we even have these around our home on wicker baskets! |
