A closer look at the architecture of the Manhattan Bridge and its walkway/bike path. It is one of three bridges connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan over the East River. The suspension bridge was completed for use in 1909 by designer Leon Solomon Moisseiff.
As one walks through the path, you can see some of the old remnants of the bridge as well as the new. During you walk or bike ride, you can also see the Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan Skyline and part of Brooklyn. It is a must to check out on your next visit to NYC. In the meantime, why not have a photo to remind you what where to go your next trip to NYC.
