This custom-built, married couple wood display is built almost entirely from reclaimed materials. It’s perfect for a rustic wedding decoration, to display at home or in your office.
The husband, wife, and house were built from reclaimed siding and walnut and cherry pallet boards. The heart was hand cut from leather that was reclaimed from a local Amish leather worker’s scrap pile. The wedding date was then etched into the leather. The flowers were made from fabric that was being thrown away.
This display can work as both a wall hanging or a shelf decoration. No two “Rustic Married Couples Display” will be the same because of the nature of the wood itself, what each board has been exposed to, and the way each piece is cut. I hand cut each piece of reclaimed wood into the shapes needed and nail every shape into place to create these very unique and personalized decorations.
The house in the picture measures approximately 10″x10″. These can be hung with a nail from the peak of the house, but can also sit on a shelf, as pictured.
This would make a perfect wedding gift, anniversary or Valentine’s Day present!
