The majority of this notebook cover is scraps of hand dyed pieces of an organic cotton & hemp fabric in a cool mix of blues, purples, greens, and a few bits of cotton batiks from my scrap bin.
I make these scrappy, reusable journal covers by fusing scraps together and top-stitching them, leaving a raw edge for textural appeal. There are no raw edges inside the natural colored cover though. It measures about 6 X 4 inches (15.2 X 10.2 cm) and has 52 unlined pages. It closes with a tie done in matching fabric.
