You can’t read this book by it’s cover. Especially since there’s no way to tell what book they once belonged to. Rebound sans spine, this book allows you to see the construction of it’s new binding and since there’s no title, it offers some creative anonymity. The covers are wrapped in their original aged red book cloth and red leather that once covered the spine.
For the text block I used acid free 100% post consumer recycled 20 lb. text paper. Because the paper is 100% recycled it contains small fibers and specks of recycled material, which adds to the charm of the book, and of course to whatever you’re writing in it. I used white waxed linen thread to sew the text block and attach the covers. This Coptic stitch is not only beautiful, but it also makes this book strong and allows it to open flat while you draw or write. The endpapers are an 80lb cream speckletone cover stock.
This book contains 160 sheets (320 pages). And measures 5 3/8” x 8 1/4” x 1 1/8”
