Sugared Plum Quilt
For this beautiful quilt I used a wide variety of fabrics. The more solid fabrics are the “grunge” fabrics from Basic Grey, “Dauphine” on the front and “Rouge” on the back. These fabrics have more of a modern appeal. Sugared Plums has a pieced back an is fully reversible. A mix of the exotic and the dignified, with such rich jewel tones, let this quilt add a posh touch to your home. I quilted in a Free Hand loops pattern, with a beautiful slightly variegated purple thread. I finished the edges with a traditional hand stitched binding.
